Mark Russell Karaviotis was born October 12, 1995, in Maui, Hawaii, Mark grew up in a baseball family watching his dad play competitive softball from the time he was born.  Mark loved to be at the field, always wanting to be a part of pre-game warm-ups.  Mark was actually hitting a baseball off a tee at eighteen months with a custom-made bat his dad made.  Even at that age, you could see there was something special about his ability.

Mark always had a ball in his hand wanting to play catch or have someone pitch to him.  While mom and dad were at work, Uncle Robbie was out in the yard pitching and throwing with him, helping hone his skills from the beginning.  When his dad came home from work; Mark would be waiting in the driveway with glove and bat in hand.... more

Mark is very mature for his age and he has his priorities in order.  He realizes his education is very important for the success of his future and should come before his athletic endeavors.  Mark has excelled in his "Scholastic" achievements while still shining in his "Athletic" accomplishments.

Mark's future as an athlete is looking to be quite an adventure and something he is looking forward to. His family and friends are here to support him in every way and enjoy witnessing his "path to success"

"Mark Karaviotis could very well be a "Five Tool Player". Coming out to San Diego, breeding grounds for professional baseball players, Mark doesn’t miss a beat. This young man comes twice a year to play with us in two major tournaments. Mark is setting himself up to excel in each level of the game. When in town Mark locks up our shortstop position, FLASHING LEATHER like no other in the tourney. Mark is becoming well known as a pitcher for us in California, and has local teams asking if Mark is coming into town to pitch for the Bullpen Bulls. Mark Karaviotis hits in our 2nd slot with an on base percentage well over .750% easily setting the 3 & 4 batters to hit him in".
